How we write and review our content

Last updated: October 23, 2026

Who writes it

Nexus Insurance is a bilingual ACA help service operated by Nexus Colpro LLC. We are not an insurance company or an insurance agency. Our team writes the guides on this site in English and Spanish.

Where the numbers come from

Figures, dates and eligibility rules come from official sources: HealthCare.gov, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, the IRS and each state's Marketplace. Our guides link the sources they use, so you can check them yourself. When an official source and our page disagree, the official source wins and we correct the page.

Who reviews it

On October 23, 2026, two licensed health insurance agents, Lupe Henriquez and Gelsy García, reviewed the figures on our 18 state pages. Those pages carry a "Reviewed by" line, and you can check their licenses in the Florida and Texas state registries below.

That same month we checked against HealthCare.gov the rules that change for 2027 coverage, such as which immigration statuses qualify for savings.

The date on each page

"Last updated" shows the date of the page's last real content change. We do not move that date when we only fix formatting or a link.

If you find something wrong or out of date, write to [email protected]. We check the source and correct the page.

Our licensed agents

Nexus Insurance is a help service operated by Nexus Colpro LLC. We are not an insurance agency: we connect you with licensed agents like them, who quote plans and help you enroll. How we review our content.

This is not insurance advice. Final numbers come from your licensed agent and from HealthCare.gov or your state Marketplace at application time.
